Four Serie A sides have sounded out a possible move for Lazio talent Matteo Cancellieri ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old Italian forward joined the Biancocelesti last summer from Hellas Verona on a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached, adding a raw but intriguing forward to Maurizio Sarri’s side.

Cancellieri failed to fully settle with Lazio this season, seeing just 602 minutes of action across 30 matches in all competitions. He failed to directly contribute to a single goal and hardly featured in the final months of the Serie A season.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Torino, Fiorentina, Empoli and Salernitana have all approached Lazio to explore a possible move for Cancellieri.

The Biancocelesti have been hoping to include the 21-year-old in a deal for Sassuolo talisman Domenico Berardi, but may open talks with the interested clubs should this fail to materialise in the coming weeks.
