Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the king of off-platform throws. Isn't it apropos, then, to hear that he made yet another beautiful one for a touchdown on "Monday Night Football"?
Monday night's matchup between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is massive. Not only does it feature two of the best teams in the NFL right now — the Chiefs are 7-2 and the Eagles are 8-1 — but it's a rematch game from last year's Super Bowl.
It's a huge game, without a doubt, and Mahomes tends to come up big when it matters the most. It's just what he does. That, and these off-platform throws that would make most coaches red with anger, but when it's No. 15 throwing them it just seems to make sense.
.@PatrickMahomes has the @Chiefs up 7-0.

Give him any sort of wiggle room, and even if he has to throw off one foot with a defender draped over him, he's going to make it work. That's why Mahomes is a two-time Super Bowl champion, a five-time Pro Bowler, and a two-time NFL MVP.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, the Chiefs beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, 38-35.
